Actually the test will not be tough at all, if you have read the Citizenship Guide at least once (or twice) cover to cover and took the practise tests (example
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/ or the tests that are available at Apna Toronto).
Try to understand the year and names roughly because, the choices will not be too close to each other. So, the simple technique is: If you don't know the exact answer, then look at the available choices and then you should easily be able to eliminate the irrelevant choices and then choose the right one.
