Will visa extension facilitate getting TRV..

I want to extend my visitor visa but at the same time i need to go back to my home country and reenter Canada so i have to apply for another TRV.
my question is if i got the visa extension will that facilitate getting the TRV or not ?

They are different process and are not related.
