Will tonight draw cut off point drop to 300?

Now that all 600+ are gone and they must take in 55K FSW? so far they do not even make 1/10 of this year mandatory requirement!
 
This is the limit of speculation.

I don't expect cutoff to drop below 600 today (if the draw happens) :P
 
Very doubtful it'll drop to the 300s any time soon. All 600+ profiles aren't guaranteed to have been selected already since more will be added all the time.

It's more likely that within the next couple of draws it'll get down to the 500s and high 400s, lots of people in the 400-500 range.
 
I wish the immigration minister reads our comments. I love the positive mental attitude tho :)
 
If they invite 300+ scored candidates at one go, the ITA's will be flooding. They will go slow. They will invite slowly so that applications don't get piled up.

But if there is not enough candidates to fill 55K of skilled workers this year then will some people from CIC be fired since they do not make the KPI for this year? They also need to protect their job so they have to select enough 55K people, last year FSW did not fill up the quota and I have seen they processed the applications super fast and almost everyone submitted last year got the PR within the year as long as they meet minimum requirements. We need to understand that CIC officers are employees too and they also need to worry about their job! I read somewhere that there are only 3000 people eligible in the pool last month and they have already selected like over 4K!
 
its a quota, not a target. they don't have to invite that many. lots of other factors like the economy will impact how many invites they do end up issuing.
 
so far it seems like the plan is to control, folks with out job offers or nominations, to the best
 
impossible that it will drop to 300 !!!

every other day i read ppl mentioning they got PNp or LMIA and are gng to create EE profile. m getting really pessimistic now!! :-\ :'(
