will my spouse get student visa with 10 bcaklogs and ielts academics is 7.5

Hello All,

My spouse has 10 backlogs in her engineering in Electronics and communication (passed out 2009) and has 5 yrs of experience in network support..Her IELTS score in academic module is (L-8.5,R-8.5,S-6.5,W-7) overall is band is 7.5

1) Is there any possibility of visa rejected because of 10 backlogs.
2)Do colleges accept students profile when there are 10 backlogs.

Any information above two questions will be appreciated.

Is she planning to apply through SPP or Non- SPP?
I too have more than 5 years of gap in study and consultant told me to go University or General category.

What course is she applying for might help get a response, is it relevant ? Which college as they have different entry requirements ? Have you as per your posts given up on your application so now trying through your spouse ?

She is trying for networking related courses. She has 10 backlogs. We were told by one of the consultancy that my spouse will not get any seat coz of backlog. I have written Ielts exam again and waiting for results. Even I am trying myself as well.

We just want to know if backlog can cause any problems.

She is going for studies after 8 years with 5 years experience. You need very very strong SOP with details what your wife did in that 3 year also. yes visa ratio is very very thin in this case but as ielts scores are good. so you can try but it's just try... keep your SOP strong
