Will my son need to write the citizenship exam?

Hi when I apply for citizenship, my son will be one month away from turning 18 so he will apply as a minor , also it would mean by the time we are called to write the exam he will be over 18.
Anyone knows uf he will require to write the test?

He will probably be asked to write the test. So apply with that assumption.

No, he won't have to write the test if the app is submitted before he turns 18.

If the app is returned for any reason and re-submitted after he turns 18, then he will have to write the test.
