Suppose I used my degree to apply and get a post graduate work permit and after one year I applied express entry and got the status of permanent residence. For some reasons, the degree got revoked after I got my PR, will my PR get cancelled because of it?

Degree revoked for what reason?
I made a very careless mistake providing an inaccurate document when applying for that school. It wasn't intentional and it's not a serious offense like providing falsified transcripts or anything. However, I am afraid that the university might make an example out of me by revoking my degree.

Possibly, yes. It seems that you are aware that your university is investigating your document errors and might decide to revoke your degree. You being aware of that fact means you must inform IRCC while applying both for your PGWP and PR, everything else would be misrepresentation and can get your PR and even citizenship revoked.

From the Immigration case Brooks [1974]:
  • it is not necessary to have intent to mislead or misrepresent, an innocent misrepresentation is still a misrepresentation
  • the misrepresentation does need to have masked a ground for refusal.
  • It is not necessary to show that the hidden information would have made the individual inadmissible, and;
  • the misrepresentation is material simply if it averts or discourages a line of inquiry

Better talk to a lawyer before filing your applications.
What if I already got my PR card before I was aware of the situation with the university?

It's really impossible to say without knowing the details.

I don't think so man. According to the latest C-6 bill for Canadian Citizenship Laws, right now the only reason to revoke a neutralized Citizen is that he or she lied or misrepresented when applying for PR and citizenship.

It just like I married to a Canadian because of love and got a PR, then later we divorced because love is gone. But the point is when we married, marriage was real.

This is my understanding.

That’s totally different. Somethings up in regards with the degree . “

In one posting you said this
“For some reasons, the degree got revoked after I got my PR, will my PR get cancelled because of it?”
Then this

However, I am afraid that the university might make an example out of me by revoking my degree.

Is the degree valid yes or no ? Like stop beating around the bush . Yes or no ?
If it’s not valid , be a adult about things and you tell the IRCC

OK. I think we are trying to say the same thing.

1. If this guy's degree was still 100% valid when he got his PR, then nothing to worry.
2. If this guy's degree was not valid before he got PR, but valid after he submitted his application, then he should let IRCC know.

Do I understand this right??
