Hi friends,
I just received my ON PNP certificate, but in the meantime I got a decent job offer from my home country.
Now I have the option to submit my PR application to CIC before I leave Canada, but have no idea if they will decline me in the future, because of my future absence in Canada. I am worrying about this because each province requires their PNP applicant to demonstrate his/her intention to stay all the time. I wondered if CIC has the same requirements.
I am having difficulties deciding whether I should take risks to apply for PR while leaving Canada, or should I give it up and wait for a couple of years to apply through Express Entry in my home country. Or is there a way for me to (anonymously) consult a CIC agent or a trusty lawyer in regarding to this?
Could anyone share any suggestions or experience? And has anyone successfully got the PR while being outside Canada during the application, as a PNP holder? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
(A little background: My PNP certificate is only valid for paper-based PR application, instead of through Express Entry. My PNP was under Master's student stream, which was not based on any job offer. And I have also applied for the Post Graduate Work Permit, meaning that I should be able to return to Canada to work within the next two or three years.)
