Will employers ask for a copy of PR Card?

Hi

I am currently in US and looking to relocate to Canada.

I am currently in the process of interviewing with a company based out of Canada. I am expecting to receive an offer letter in the next 2-3 days.

I did my soft landing in August and linked PR CARD application to my PR application.

My PR CARD application says its been approved (3 days ago) and its just a matter of time before I get it.

Will the employer ask for my PR card copy? (like people ask to send a copy of H1 in USA)

I have a SIN number.

Please advice.

Do you have any estimate on how long it will take for the card to be delivered from the day the status changes to approved?
Also, looks like Canada post is going on strike next week. That will definitely slow the delivery.

Normally 2-3 weeks after approval but hard to predict after canada post strike.
