Wife is pregnant. Possible to get visa stamp after medicals before birth?

Hi guys,

We are in the medical stage of the processing. My wife is pregnant and I wonder if it’s possible to get permanent visa stamp in passport after medicals before due date? I've read somewhere here that officers try to postpone visa issuing because of that.

Do we have forum members who got permanent resident’ visa during their pregnancy?

As long as the medical examination has already been done, it's not a problem.

If you get visa before the newborn arrives, you should travel before the delivery, in case you plan to travel to canada after delivery, the visas would be reissued. The old visas would stand void automatically.
