Just asking this question for some one.
If some one wants to apply for immigration and wife is not willing to move to Canada. Can some one only apply as a main application with his 1 year old child without wife.????
Wife is a doctor and her parents advised her that leaving husband is better then to leave the job so thats why wife is not ready to leave job as she knows that her pakistani MBBS degree is not recongisned in Canada so moving there will make her a house wife.
Applying without wife will not make the case weak???
Any advice please?????

This looks a bit complicated.

Your wife will have to cooperate in order for you to bring your child.

I don't know where you live, but isn't your wife worth more than that? Give it some hard thoughts. Canada is only a place. Your wife is your partner and the mother of your son. You can get a new wife, but you can never replace her in your life.

You can go ahead and apply without including your wife as an accompanying dependent. It doens't make your case weak. It's your choice.

Keep in mind that you will not be able to use her experience/education to get extra points for your application.

Although she is non-accompanying, she will still have to have a medical, complete a number of forms and pass the security/background check.

I totally agree with you. I would at no cost break a relationship to come to Canada.

Dear, it is not for me, it is for some one else and every body can decide their future plan according to their situation and circumtances. I am the one who has wait letter 6 - 12 months and now expecting to get a letter of 18 months waiting time.
However, thanks alot Scylla for your advice.
In short, he must need his wife help during all the process of immigration from filling the froms to medical process.
Just one question for knowledge and God forbids it happens.
In case of divorce between any husband and wife, still husband needs wife's help in all these filling forms till medical procedure just to sponsor the child?

Just tell your wife that you are including her in the application. In the end, she can choose to move or not to move to Canada for whatever reasons.

You don't need to divorce at this moment. Who know's if the child support this idea?

And his wife should ask the same question.
No one wants to go to the othes side of the globe and start from scratch because he is just bored...
