Hi friends my wife got visa under open work permit so now I booked ticket this month is it compulsary that I should go and get her from india or she can come alone / accompany her as I cannot go to india to get her as i cant get leave from job as i am working in canada alberta.

She can enter Canada alone, remember bring the right documents to the custom office, such as visa and work permit letter.

My wife applied with the medicals already done.

she can come on her own. there is no rule which says that you personally have to go to India to accompany her. Just make sure that all the docs are complete.

I have applied for my wife open work permit since I have Post-graduate work permit valid until 2015 and also I have applied under PNP for PR.
I'd also appreciate it if anyone has experience about open work permit for spouse to share. What was your condition what did you attached with your documents. Please let me know
