My wife have no birth certificate, but she has high school marksheet which has date of birth and her father name. Issue is, some of the part is in hindi. Like date of birth and date of birth in words are written in English only but some of the words in hindi. Do I need to submit a translated version of this.
Also for translation, will they ask original mark sheet as she has only photo copy of mark sheet.

One more issue, is her family name is different in mark sheet and this has been changed after marriage. In her passport her family name is same as mine as this was made after marriage only. All other documents like marriage certificate have surname as passport only. Please suggest if we need to submit a name change certificate. If yes, what is the procedure. Senior members please help.

Senior members, please suggest on this.

(1) Play safe - submit a translated version of your Birth Certificate. Any info on your BC not in English will raise doubts. For translation, original marks sheet will be required.
(2) Name change after marriage. Submit your marriage certificate and that will cover it.

Thanks Andy,
In my marriage certificate, name of my wife is same as of today and not that before marriage. Please let me know if that will be fine.
Also for birth certificate, If I will submit an affidavit from my wife and than submit copy of her marksheet which has date of birth written in English, will it work?

It should be fine but please keep a covering letter explaining why the surnames are different.

Marriage certificate should have the name before marriage.
I am assuming the last name of wife changed after marriage?

The passport should have new name.
Marriage certificate is a proof that name change happened due to marriage.

In my wife's high school certificate also some part was Hindi( name, DOB and Father's name was in English) but i did not submit the translation.

I applied in Dec and received AOR and hence hoping they accepted it.

I will suggest you to get certificate of birth from India High Commission Ottawa and also submit affidavit(read forum for detail on this) in support of your Spouse's DOB. They will atleast accept one of them and take the application.

Thanks for your suggessions.
My wife marksheet have same details in English(name, DOB and Father's name in English) but some part in Hindi too, So I think this should be acceptable.

My marriage certificate was made after one year of marriage and they have put her name whatever it is today(Passport also have same name) and it is not same as in her high school marksheet.
Please suggest solution for this problem.

Also I will submit only an affidavit with marksheet and not a certificate from counsulate of India as this is not acceptable as per my research on this forum.

Certificate is just additional document for Visa officer. Some Visa Officers accept while some do not.
But it is fine if you do not want to submit.

I frankly have no idea how to deal with this kind of situation. May be somebody who has under same situation can advise you better.
is your wife here in Canada with you? ( i mean they have given her visitor visa or work visa before based on the same documents?)
In that case you can submit your spouse form same as the way you submitted during her visitor/work permit application and with the same marriage certificate.
Otherwise i have no idea.

Yes, she is here with me and got dependent visa on same documents. Also she was with me in US and UK and got visa with same document. But at that time nobody ask for a birth certificate, where her name is different.
