Why am i not getting letter from cic

Hi guys..we have applied inland back in april 2013. However i was wondering why we have not received any confirmation yet that our application has been received.does anybody here in same situation like me?

If you are cooresponding by email, check ur spam box. In my case, they had my email address incorrect and I had to call CIC to get it corrected

have you check your ecas to see if there's any progress? my husband also did not receive the letter regarding his sponsorship approval. you can call CIC to verify that they have your correct info.

you should call cic everyday & check... bcoz that was happened to me & my husband just waited without calling & then after 1 year he started calling them. then they said that they have put the file away as it was uncompleted & it was for a parent's application. then after my husband shouted @ them only they have pulled our application & even they have not put our application to the system. then after my husband call & call about 2-3 months only they started to process my application.
so, plzzzzz call & check immediately.............

CIC's website is quoting 6 months for Stage 1 of 'inland' applications. However, last week they were opening applications received last October 8th. At that rate, you won't hear anything until December of this year/ January 2014.

Thanx for your response guys. When i check the website it says there that my application has been received april 17 2013 and thats it.. Does that mean that my application is already on file. What we are waiting is at least a letter from them confirming they received my application..
