wht visa does my spouse need to have?

I was married over the holidays in my native country and want my new wife to come to canada and apply for permenant residence from Canada, can she come on a tourist visa to wait for her paper work to be approved?? Or does she need a special visa?

Which country are you from? Maybe you could find out if you are from a visa exempt country, otherwise you need to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa for her.

You're always better off applying outland for Permanent Residency. The process goes much faster than if you apply inland.

I applied outland and then proceeded to visit my wife in Canada and live with my her for the past year while my application was being processed. We actually sent it to Mississauga from Canada after I had arrived there. Just made sure to put my address in the USA on everything for me.

Make sure you always use the word visit as opposed to move so you don't get deported

As for the visa, it really depends on what country your wife is from.

Absolutely right, I simply forgot to put that line in there. I do always tell everyone I am visiting for official purposes. Thank you for catching my mistake
