I received PPR! That was soo quick! My doc told me he submitted my e-med on Friday.
And I got PPR on Tuesday.
Sending passport over the first thing in the morning!

Hi, All. I got MR in Dec 2014 and paid upfront RPRF then, and I am still waiting for PPR now.

In February, I got a reply from CIC to say my application was under background check. Last week, I sent an email to CIC again to ask the current status, and today I got a reply about the status of my application. Do you know what it means?

"Dear Applicant,

Please note that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer which explains why you haven’t received any correspondence from our office.

Thus, no action is required of you, at this present time. Our office will get in contact with you regarding the next steps in your file
in due time.

Can any one tell me how long it takes to get PPR? I got MR on August 2014 and MR done on 1st September. Within week status change to " Medical report received" From then no more letter. Surprisingly my nephew and my sister got stamp on PP who apply after me!

Normally it takes 4-8 weeks provided your background checks are positive...Contact your visa office...

Hi Folks

Can any of you from India please help me out with the following queries:

1. Whats the approximate turnaround time for this request to change the stamping office (to New Delhi)? [2 weeks]
2. I am assuming that the COPR will be mailed to my current correspondence address? Does CIC use normal post to send the COPR from Canada to India? [CoPR is issued in Delhi itself. They send it via courier]
3. Is there an option of sending a prepaid Blue Dart/ any other courier envelope to expedite the same and avail the tracking? [Only option to send passport for stamping and to receive the stampted passports along CoPR is through VFS. You should those instructions in the PPR email you receive.]

Thanks for reply. I mail them but found no reply. But while I change my address they change it but other mails are nor replied. Out of 53 page of GCMS info there have no any date of 2015. Really confused.

Go to your MP's office and ask them to do the follow up with CIC. They usually get the response back from CIC in 48 hours.

I guess wait for in process or decision made....i have heard it takes 3 to 4 months....but just heard that....haven't seen that in my case...I am still waiting for some action after submitting medical in November 1st week 2014....
