We received your application for permanent residence on February 24, 2014.

We started processing your application on February 18, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

Friends does this means that I passed medicals?

If you have a dependent, it definitely takes longer. On top of that if your dependent is in another country, it takes some extra time for background check. I have no idea, if all of this applies to your case.

In my case, my husband was in India, so it took them almost year and half to do the background check.

Hope, this is not the case for you..Be patient. You will hear gud news soon too.

My parents and I have handed in our medical and they recieved it over 14 months ago, going on 15. Why is it taking so long? We are in a family class sponsorship.

Hi Folks

Can any of you from India please help me out with the following queries:

1. Whats the approximate turnaround time for this request to change the stamping office (to New Delhi)?
2. I am assuming that the COPR will be mailed to my current correspondence address? Does CIC use normal post to send the COPR from Canada to India?
3. Is there an option of sending a prepaid Blue Dart/ any other courier envelope to expedite the same and avail the tracking?

Hi guys
I am April applicant. I didn't get mr yet though I did upfront . My application is under review by vo officer sicnce now 21014. I didn't get any update so far.

I called Cic today to check my application status and cic told me that they received my medical and application under process..

Is it good sign? Is anyone got update after second review?
