Hello Cabalen,
I am Jan 2014 application and my eCAS status is application received with the 2 lines as below. RPRF requested and paid on Oct 28th 2014.
Does this mean they have started processing my application and am i close to getting the PPR?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 2014.

2. Medical results have been received.

Thank you.

To add to Octanu, don't rely too much on eCAS. It's inaccuracies have been proven many times already.

Mine changed, technically, before paying the RPRF. Even for PPR, in my case, was sent first before Decision Made.

You have been waiting for PPR for more than 4 months after RPRF?

Yes, my medicals got updated in the CIC system only this week even though it was completed on Aug 2014 and results uploaded through emedicals. That happened since doctor uploaded my medicals with a UMI number since they could not find my IME in their system during my medical exam appointment. I was not made aware of the these. CIC has been waiting for my medicals all these days and i had to send a summary sheet of the medicals to actually show that i have completed my medicals. Now waiting time for the PPR and i hope it comes soon.

No. Getting RPRF is not assurance that they have started working in your application. That being said, some people get it at the same time (almost the same time) as MR while some get RPRF months after MR and there is no clear indication that application is already "In Process".

Though unreliable, once you see in eCAS that they are working on your application on a certain date then you can assume that they have started to work in you application.

Any comments on your GCMS?

Same situation here, don't know when they will start processing application. Awaiting fro the GCMS notes now..

Does RPRF Request comes along with PPR Request?

My Ecas only shows :(

1) We have received your application June 18.

2) Medical results have been received.

some of them Ecas showing: 3)we started processing your application ....date
But my Ecas does not show anything like that? That means

They don't even start process my application?? :(

Anyone same boat?

I received medical request for my spouse and myself on February 18. My wife completed on Feb 20 (as I did upfront medicals in September 2014). On Feb 26 Doctor uploaded the medical results and said everything was fine.

AND TILL NOW, I dont see medical results in ECAS. Disappointing.

I sent them the details in a word document. They accepted it. You can do the same. Good luck.

Hello, all.

I have a random question.
As my application going, my relationship status has been changed, so i informed to CIC as asking what we need to do if i want to add him on my PR application. And i got an e-mail:

Controlled documents required for continued processing:

· Updated IMM0008 Application for Permanent Residence in Canada to be completed by the Principal Applicant;

· A completed and signed IMM5406 Additional Family Information by your common-law partner;

· A completed and signed IMM5669 Schedule A by your common law partner;

· A completed and signed IMM4509 Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union;

· Evidence of cohabitation between yourself and partner for one year or more;

· A copy of your common-law partner’s valid passport;

· A copy of your common-law partner’s birth certificate;

· An original police certificate for all countries your common-law partner has lived for more than 6 months since the age of 18 years; (for more information, consult the following link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp);

There is my concern from bold sentence, do you think cic is waiting for me to add him? Or my application is still on 2nd review?
I am worried that they might stop working on my application and wait till i send off my partner's application.

What do you guys think??
