Which visa for Spouse or dependent child of International Student in Canada?

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have an Indian passport and working in USA on H1B visa. I am staying with my wife and daughter (dependent visas). I just have received student permit for Canada and planning to start my studies in Fall 2017 (1st week of September 2017). Below are my questions

1. Which type of visa should i apply for my wife and daughter so that we enter Canada together?
2. Open work permit is not possible as it will take 3 months and we have to reach Canada by end of august.
3. Can I apply for visitor visa now for my wife and daughter and then after reaching Canada will apply for open work permit for wife. Do not know what type of visa for daughter will be then? In that case, will there be chances of rejections of open work permit as my wife will enter Canada first on visitor visa?

I would apply for a visitor visa for both your wife and child. Once all of you are in Canada, your wife can apply for an OWP.

Yes - there's always a chance the visitor visas may be refused.

Can I use the reason for visitor visa of my wife and daughter as Dependent on an International student? Will it work or are there more chances of rejection in that case?
Otherwise what should be the reason in my case?

My student visa got approved for next 2 years on basis of my admission to University of Regina. I am staying in USA on H1B visa from last 1.5 years with my wife and daughter who are on H4 (dependent) visa. I want to move Canada with my family. Can you please help me with below questions:

1. Which Visa should I apply for my 4 years old my daughter?
2. Is there any visa, other than Open Work Permit for my wife? Any visa which is for dependents not willing to work?
3. If my wife have to apply Open Work Permit, then can we apply it before I start my studies, as I am planning to start my studies in May 2018 and we have enough time before that.
