Trying to look for companies that sends balikbayan boxes/cargo boxes from the Philippines to Canada. Any ideas? I have a lot of books I want to bring and it will come out too heavy if I try to bring it with me on the plane.

Help please?

How many books are you bringing?
Why don't you just pay for another luggage? Instead of carrying 2 overweight ones, just bring a third one maybe?

Anyways, LBC is pretty reliable.

Quite a few. :) and they are heavy ones.. was actually debating on paying the extra 150$ for another 50lb luggage, but it looks like I'll need 2 extra luggages (coming out at 300$) just because of the weight limit.

Balikbayan boxes shipped via Sea doesn't have a weight limit, as I understand it. right?

Will check LBC. thanks! :)

Any other options?

That's correct shipped boxes visa sea cargo doesn't have a weight limit. The problem is I don't think there's a cargo from the Philippines to Canada. If there is any it might be rare. Obviously there's a lot of companies that ship from Canada to the Phil but not the other way around. But hopefully you find one. Goodluck. :)

Thanks Marsiangel! hopefully someone who has experience shipping personal belongings when they migrated to canada can answer the question. :)

Will pass by LBC later as well. :)

This is incorrect. I have one suggestion:

They have offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Hong Kong, Manila and etc. I used their international relocation services (for shipping my personal belongings) from China to Vancouver and the experience was great.
