Dear friends,
I would like to know which of this three province or any other province that is easier to get Pnp with a job using pgwp. Manitoba, British columbia, Nova scotia. I would be through with my pgd by August in a college in Toronto. Must the job be skilled for me to get the pnp? Thanks

Nova Scotia probably because they only need you to be working there for 3 months, but there is a heck lotta formalities in Nova Scotia...manitoba too but the nomination time there can be around 4-5 months under the employer direct stream so if your WP runs out you will have problems and take 1-2 months to find a job as the situation in Manitoba regarding employment is pretty bad....So despite all the hassle I would say Nova Scotia.....

For course less then 2 years long and greater or equal to 8 months you will get PGWP equal to the length of your studies. If you study another course within 2 years of completing the previous degree/diploma and your cumulative study time in Canada is 2 years then you will be able to get PGWP of 3 years.

Keep in mind that PGWP is given only once.

Yes for 1 year study you will get 1 year PGWP.

Quote: "Students holding a one-year graduate degree from a provincially accredited post-secondary educational institution in Canada (pursued full-time) after having obtained, within the prior two years, a degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary educational/training institution will qualify for a three year work permit. This exception also applies to students who have left Canada temporarily between the graduations."

At least one of the two 1-yr programmes needs to be a graduate degree though. The other one can either be a degree or a diploma. Certificates (UG/PG) do not qualify.

You will have to apply for PNP or CEC, after getting canadian degree/diploma plus 1 year job experience in NOC O,A,B (with some exceptions), following which you can apply for Permanent Residence.

For citizenship you are allowed to apply after 2 years of being Permanent resident in Canada plus you must have spent 3 out of 4 years in Canada.
