I'm thinking about getting my future wife here in Canada, but I don't know the best option to make, and I want to know which one's the fastest.

1. Should I just marry her back in our country and sponsor her.
2. Let her apply for a tourist visa and just get married here.
3. Or just get engaged and sponsor her.

I'm not even really sure if my options are allowed.

Option 3 is only an option if you are engaged and live together in a continuous relationship for 12 months.

The other 2 options are really up to you. You would have to personally weigh the pros and cons of both of those options, either INLAND or OUTLAND, processing times and personal constraints. There is not one hard fast rule or fast track for someone to take as each application and applicant is different and will work out differently.

Good luck.

Which VO? Is she from a visa-exempt country? Do you "want" her to be able to visit here first? Just to be clear, getting "engaged" has NOTHING to do with any of your options, the 3rd option simply being a 'common-law' application only AFTER 12 months of continuous co-habitation.

Thanks for the information! But what if she applied for a student visa instead? Which one do you think will be the fastest to process?

A student visa, by far, is a quicker process than family PR sponsorship, however, that particular visa will only grant her the ability to come and study in Canada and it is not permanent, only temporary. If you only want to visit with her for a short time, then this option will be quicker than family class PR.

Be careful in applying for student visa. CIC may view this action as a quick way for her to come to Canada to get married and not related to taking the courses. There are a couple of cases I have read that got their sponsorship denied because of misrespresentation through study visa. The applicant applied for study visa for the purposes of getting married in Canada since TRV is either denied or applied for student visa because it is the quickest way to get to Canada.

You may want to consider her applying for student visa but don't get married the next day or so soon after she arrives in Canada. CIC will view this action is solely for immigration purposes and not for study purposes.
