HEY GUYS, ALMOST DONE MY APPLICATION, THANKS TO YOU GUYS, AND I AM JUST WONDERING WHICH FEES DO I ACTUALLY NEED TO PAY? IM BRITISH AND MY WIFE IS CANADIAN, SHE IS SPONSORING ME VIA THE FAMILY CLASS. ALL I CAN SEE IS $75.OO AND $475.00 DOLLARS? IS THIS CORRECT? IT SEEMS PRETTY CHEAP?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

CHRIS

if you decide to only pay that, remember that there is a right of permanent residency ($490) that has to be paid before you can get your visa.

If you have the money, its advisable to pay the whole $1040 up front to avoid any delays...

WHAT? when i paid for my spouse and my step son they told me the fees were 700.00 for the both they even sent me a refund for $10.00 cause they said i paid too much as i paid $710.00 so what your saying if it is approved they will ask me for more money?

WHICH SECTION IS THE 'FEE FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE' IN ON THE WEBSITE? IF THIS IS TRUE, I WOULD RATHER PAY IT ALL UPFRONT?

yup, you'll have to pay another 490 per person. :/

this is the fee calculator:

i just looked under the fees payment part and it is part 4 so i guess it does have to be paid before you get the visa.So yeah if you can pay it all now,i guess ill have to pay it when they ask for it.

Well i looked and it says only for the principal applicant, children of the principal applicate does not require a payment

The following applicants are not required to pay this fee:

•protected persons, including Convention refugees.
