I wonder where you get those numbers. I have coached by now more than 100 succesful visa applications and none of them included: "Bank Statements for child, land deed, etc." in the letter of explanation. Therefore I asked you why do you do it. Maybe it is applicable for your case. I don't know. I was just pointing something that looked a little too much for me.

Really?

This is the document I pointed to you:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5257B_1.pdf

As you can see it has all you posted in the "your answer to this is definitely wrong" post.

Anyway as it seems that my willingness to help you is not appreciated then I'll let other people help you.

Wish you the best in your application :)
Letter of explanation is for Schedule 1 which is for Military Service or cases where human rights violations were witnessed or performed. So, I am not sure if any of the optional documents section would be the right place for documents I mentioned and that was why I said your response was not right.

You are probably referring to this page (see picture below). I selected only the two showing but nevertheless I am looking to upload *the applicants* bank statements, land deed, and employer letter, and also the invitee same paperwork.

I am still interested to see what you are seeing.

I apologize. I mean I never got into that link/page on your above picture. I found out all the requirements that needs to be uploaded after I made that gc key account and from there, I started obtaining them and uploaded them each time I got them :).

Strange! I am not getting those options. Did you get Super Visa application or regular visa? When going through questionnaire you are asked to selected your relationship to person in Canada and if you select "Child/Grand-child" then you get the Super Visa application to continue with. Maybe you are getting all these options because it's a regular visa? If you go through this questionire (buttom of page, START MY APPLICATION), you will see what I mean.

I see how you got this. When you went through the "Determine your visa eligibility" process you didn't select "Child/grand-child" when it asked for your relationship to person in Canada so it presented you with options for a regular TRV. The form IMM5257 still has a section where for purpose of travel you can select "Super Visa" but maybe rest of documents are really not needed for Super Visa. However, I am surprised that this is the case but since the process is so complicated I am sure most of people make mistakes with this. This puts me in a really confused position now. Should I or should I not go through the regular TRV process to get the same options you got even though I am applying for Super Visa??? Darn it, I wish they were more helpful in documentation on this.

Does anyone know if there is a specific section of CIC that can intelligently answer these sort of questions over the phone?

I find it strange too torrontob. I got supervisa but haven't gone through with what you got there. Yes, I clicked the above link that you gave me and I think this is what you meant(see below picture)

In that case, I didn't chose Child/Grandchild because I am not the applicant. I chose Parent/Grandparent because that questionnaire is for the applicant. (which is my mom)

Let say, you are the one who answered those questions. But it's actually not about you... It's about the person who is the applicant for supervisa.

Thanks,

hi torrontob,

i find your question here to almost have similar answer to your other above post for me. so please read my reply about the (Child/Grandchild) (Parent/Grandparent). I hope it will help you to get out of confusion. I am sorry if I may not be specific enough and got leads you to confusion.

Thanks,
Their wording is really stupid but you did it the opposite way of what they asked. You should have chosen "Child/gran-child". If you read the question again and it's explanation you will know what I mean. Also, when you select that ONLY then you are provided with Super Visa option on next page and in all other cases you will see TRV on next page.

Now, I don't think this is really important because the answers to questionnaire is NOT submitted and main application form IMM5727 does has an option for selecting Super Visa on the form which will tell the VO this is for Super Visa but they might get confused as the application might come marked for TRV and I think that is why some people complain here that they got TRV instead of Super Visa.

The most important point here is to get the Visa and if you get rejected Super Visa because you don't have enough options to submit support documents then it's really stupid of the programmers to do this.

I also hear a lot that Super Visa is all dependent on the child/grand-child but then I hear people submitting all sorts of paper documents so if an officer is used to receiving all those paper documents they will not see the online document favorably even if the user followed what was rightly presented to them.
