sorry if i join this thread. i can't find my way to start a new. anyways, i have submitted all requirements and had my medical last nov. 19, 2012. as i read through some threads, some takes 4-5-6 months before they receive theirs. though, as per my friends who left for canada, it took them not more than 2 months.

anyways, my friend is treating me for a Singapore tour this coming feb. 4-7, 2013. is it possible for me to borrow my passport from the embassy? if yes, how long will it take me? (given limited time that is jan. 30-feb 1, 2013 processing time) if yes, will it affect my visa processing one way or another....

need a reply asap given time constraints... (

I al so relived im not the only one who has been waiting for their Visa. I was been a year for me! Also I have another question. When I applied initially and sent application I was 30yrs. I was told they would back date or rather date by the inital date not the date of the age ill be when I recieved my visa. this also has me worried. I am now 31, if the visa is back dated to when I was still 30 then I have a year to enter, that year will be up in 2 weeks when im 32. Help does anyone know of anything to do, or place to contact or advice. Greatly appreciate it!

hi did u receive ur visa before your trip to singapore? we have d same situation, my family and i will go to bangkok this sep but my passport is still in canadian embassy..what did u do? did u borrow ur visa from d embassy? please i need ur help thanks!!!

Hi,
I applied my visa last may 2013 but unfotunately its almost 6 mos. And I dont have any updates about it. My AIT will expire this coming dec.18,2013.. pls. Help...
