I updated that spreadsheet twice but my info has been deleted. I am not interested to waste my time again and again to update the spreadsheet.

Are you referring to Line 52 of TIMELINE sheet? FYI, once the info is moved/updated in TIMELINE, then it will be deleted from NEW ENTRY. Rules are written on first sheet.

Hi folks,

I am new to this thread. I am 2015 applicant, but I saw people from 2014 batch talking about medical requests for their parents? Is that right? Is CIC actually moving quite well with the backlog? If that’s the case I imagine a huge quota will be given to PGP stream in the next couple years and hopefully 2015 files will get looked at pretty soon.

Only ONE person has posted so far that they received a request for medical (and gotten other batch folks to scramble and complain and what not, maybe that was the intent!). And that same person has not posted any follow ups since despite multiple people asking for more detail. Make whatever you like out of it.

I had applied from my Parents in 2014 and last friday (March 4th, 2016) have received letter from CPC-Mississauga that File is approved and forwarded to New Delhi.

Any Idea as what is processing time in New Delhi Now. (There was no application since November 2011 to Dec 2013)

Could you please let us know which date of January 2014 did your application arrived in CIC?

My file is in progress since Dec, 2014 without any real progress. Hopefully I might receive something this month.

folks, I noticed that despite my application being logged in on jan 2 2014, my file hasn't been approved yet unlike some others (shows in process). i checked the file again and found that my parents passport information provided on the application form has expired since in 2015. perhaps that is the reason for the delay in approval.

my question is: should i call CIC to get the parents passport info updated? how or through what email address?

Did CIC update your application status online? What does it say now?

The government has just announced they will let in 20,000 parents this year. How many do they have in the PGP inventory?

PGP admission levels were same in 2014 and 2015.

I don't have a factual number and it is all my opinion (so please don't take it too seriously). based on their previous backlog numbers; they may be somewhere between 30,000 - 40,000 of backlog at this stage not including 2014, 2015 and 2016 applicants.

In 2012 and 2013 the govt had allocated 25000 visas. It's disappointing that now for 3 years that figure has remained at 20000.

Worse still the actual 2014 figures released today show only 18150 visas issued, you would think considering there is a backlog at least the full 20000 quota of visas would be issued for that year.
