Hi, did you use the application number in the email you received to access your account online? Mine still doe snot show anything...

Hello I just used the F000XXX.. number which is the family class application nymber. and the last name to login and it did login...

Also tried both applicant and sponsor details to check status online using the F000XXX.. number. Did not work for me either.

I used the applicant's name and the File number that was sent to us in the AOR E-mail that we all got a few weeks ago..

I am planning to apply in 2015 to sponsor my parents....my older child will be of 20 years age by Jan 2015. Should I include him while calculating size of my family as CIC is going to change the age of dependent from August 1, 2014?

Your child is considered to be an adult thus not your dependent so the child is not included in the family count.

Parent's name is the applicant's name....I used my mother's name

Called CIC today asking when can application status be checked online and was told it won't be available until the applications start to be processed, which according to current timeline is still a few years away!

I wonder why some people can do that already now?

How many of us here who got that AOR email in June can check their status online?

If you see the timelines of those applications, which can now be access online, you will realize that they were all received on Jan 2. Patient my friend, we are definitely in the queue.

I still haven't got my file number yet. Called CIC, they said in about Sept, I will get it.
