Hey guys, especially all those who's parents files have been transferred to Ottawa, we have movement! Mum just got medical request, and just replied telling them that it had already been done in November last year for her supervisa.... will let you guys know if they accept that and what happens next... I'm just pleased we've heard something! File was transferred there on Feb 20, 2016, for all of your timelines....

Thank you for the update. If I am reading my GCMS note correctly, my file transferred to Ottawa on April 15th, 2016. So hopefully in 2-3 months I might get request for PCC and medical.

I think you're probably right... except, I didn't get PCC request... that must be coming after...

Some times they don't ask for PCC. Only medical, so you might get request to send the passport for PR. I will do the PCC next month so when they ask I can send it right away.

It would be great if they don't ask for PCC! I was going to do it in advanced as well, just incase.... but it costs a lot for one from the UK! so will hold off...

and she got it by email to her email address, not mine... which was good cos I couldn't remember what email address I had put on the application all those years ago!

I knew there would be some of you guys waiting for movement in Ottawa as well! I have been watching things like a hawk waiting for someone to get some news!

PCC is compulsory for all permanent residence applications. It will be requested at some time during the process.

I also never got PA approval. I know my file is in Ottawa from GCMS notes. The very interesting thing is under CORRESPONDENCE > Outgoing: 1 looks like they issue a letter with Document type: Sponsor - Approved on April 14th, 2016 and I never received it. Looks like they might have issue for sending the SA approval email for some of us. The email address I am using almost got no spam and I check junk mailbox everyday too. I search my mailbox every couple of days so I do not think i am missing email. It just never came to my mailbox. anyway I do not care about the SA email anymore as long as I receive rest of the email properly.

Did you do a police check? I think we're on a pretty similar timeline... so good to see Ottawa files moving.

Thanks, I must be getting that request next, just got medical request... might just get police certs now to speed things up. You're a little ahead (I think maybe even the leader of the pack), can't wait to hear you've had passport request... appreciate you keeping us updated, thanks!

Yes good thinking. Our PCC request came 2 weeks after medicals by email.
