When to pay Right to Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)?

Send the printed receipt to CPC-M (Address above). It is a PO box. I don't think you can courier. I sent it by Xpresspost.

Fax and scan and email a copy to the VO overseas. I would also send it by snail mail to the VO overseas that is handling your app

At least that's what LA told us to do.

ok thank you. I will do that monday. I wish we would have paid it before but we are using a rep and he told us nothing about this. Not even when he got our AOR and i went to see him last week and asked to see the AOR and there it was....requesting we pay the fee...err sooo frustrating!

I was sent notification to pay the RPRF recently and I told my husband just paid the RPRF with his credit card. He did it and now we are about to fax the receipt but I just realize that I my have to put my address on the receipt, will this be a problem? I am the sponsor and I didn't realize that I would have to pay the fee myself until I read this forum. It was just convenient, but now I feel like we made a big mistake. Should I just tell my husband to fax a letter with the receipt saying that he paid the fees on my behalf or what?

Hi,

I was told that I had to pay the RPRF but to wait until I was asked to do so, I'm making the payment tonight as we called cic and they said we didn't need to wait. My question is if for sure if I send the receipt to mussissagua they will automatically contact the visa office in Bogota and let them know we paid the fee off. And also what is the phone number where the receipt also needs to be faxed to? Will it be shown after we make the payment?

We payed the 550 processing fee and had no idea about the RPRF. I'm also hoping it won't cause delays in our application since they haven't asked for that yet, but we should have payed it off at the beginning.

I think as soon as you have sponsor approval then you can pay the rest and it shouldn't cause much or any delay.

I strongly agree with those who suggest paying it at the beginning.

we chose to hold off and then upon request I made the payment online. I printed the receipt, filled it out and then (as per CIC instructions) scanned and emailed it to

CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca

The above is CIC mississauga and I also chose to CC CIC Nairobi.

I just made the payment tonight and well my husband was the one who used his Credit card in canada therefore we sent the receipt to Mississauga by mail but I also sent a copy of the receipt to my Visa Office via email.

Help pls....

I am now applying for permanent resident under provncial nominee, i want to pay online the processing fee and RPRF at the same time together with the application package to the CIO. My question is if i pay thru online, the processing fee and RPRF receipt are separated or only one receipt. Cause i read in this forum that the receipt of RPRF will be send to CPPO but i will send my processing fee and application package to the CIO.

Just curious, if I don't pay the RPRF together with the application, can I still pay it in advance without being requested or if I don't pay it in the beginning, I'll just have to wait for the request?

Hello,
I have applied in MPNP and now I have received email for medical and payment of fees. I had already paid application fees when I had applied. Is this Right of Permament Resident fees that I have to pay now.?
