Hi,
Last date for colleges under spp for jan 2016 intake is december 1.

Loan depends on the bank and the collateral you giving. it can take from 15 days to 2 months. Apply soon to be on safe side.

Regards,
Sammy

Hi. I am also planning for the Jan 2016 intake. Is it true that other schools in Vancouver does not require IELTS? My consultant told me but I am a bit confused upon reading some of the posts here in forum.

Thanks in advance for those who can answer my concern.

Some of them have special provisions like "if you have studied for the last SOME(varies) years in a school where English has been the language of instruction you are exempt from English proficiency tests. " I had applied to several Universities in Canada for masters..fall 2015... and in several of them it was stated that MY UNIVERSITY comes under their exempt list of English tests. So i just needed a written from my University to confirm this.. but to avoid all these chaos and to be on the safe side I sat for Toefl. I would say go for IELTS/TOEFL.. to be on the safe side..

Bank loan proccesing time? well of course that will depend on your bank dude.... ask them...

Apply as early as you are allowed to... I should not be saying this to you.... I mean that is common sense.... The sooner you apply usually the faster you get an answer....

Since you need a student visa.... the sooner you apply to college and get an answer the sonner you will be able to apply for visa and avoid delays... many people are not able to come to Canada or have to postpone their education because of CIC delays...

For Visa application you can even apply 6 months before... so the sooner the better

From my experience, to get a student loan , the first thing you will need is the acceptance letter of your college/University, and also their fee schedules(well sometimes).. so you should take up toefl/ielts as soon as you can..apply as soon as you can..cz after you apply it will also take months for a decision to be made by the college/univ committee...and then if you are accepted you will be have to arrange all the necessary documents and apply for a student loan.... I have no idea about SPP programs.. I applied to the other universities in Canada...but wherever you apply, its a very tedious process... act as quickly as you can........
