So just to give an update, I did receive the documents back in mail few days ago and it includes the bank draft I submitted for the application fee as well. So at least they had some decency to not take the fee. Its just courier fees and time lost at this stage so I feel like there wont be any...

Yeah it sucks how they are doing all this so unprofessionally. I am very well aware of their aggressive courier service, but unfortunately we dont have another choice when it comes to these things. There should be some changes made to this monopoly for sure.

Yeah I understand they have rights to change the rule. But at minimum they should’ve notified everyone about this change. How can they expect people to know this rule change without announcing. Anyways I am glad you didnt take the chance. Good luck.

My application was delivered on Feb 17 to BLS. This is really unfair that they didnt update this information anywhere or give any announcement. Their application guidelines still says include a self declaration. ~$200 wasted because of their negligence.

I am one of the unlucky ones. I dont have my Canadian passport yet so I included a self declaration as per the requirement. I saw today on the tracker that my application is returned due to not having Canadian passport. I did a postal application so will I get that application fee refunded?
