WHEN SHOULD WE START GETTING WORRIED?

It has been three and a half months now since we sent the application to CIO in Nova Scotia, but no news at all from CIO, not even an acknowledgement that they received the application. Through Canada Post, it is confirmed that CIO did receive the application, though no direct confirmation from CIO itself. Is this normal?

How long more should we wait before we should get worried that something might be wrong with our application?

And anything we can do now, instead of just waiting around doing nothing?

Please help as one can't help think we has happened to our application.

Always check your spam box and do check from your bank that the application fee draft had been encashed. Normally after realization of payment they send the letter within 10 days.
If it is end of 4th months then you should worry.

we applied in September 2007.. then we received the confirmation letter that ar we still interested or not...?? well we replied them a few months back we got a welcome letter from Alberta government that what we are required to do after landing there..it was a guideline actually.... but i think almost 4 years are over and we got a calender as well and it was mentioned that ALBERTA 2010 AWAITS.. does it mean that we will be going before 2011....why its taking too long????kindly help me
