AOR mean Acknowledgement of Receipt.. so when did you recieve the first letter from them saying its in process and what time line did they ask you.. Ne kadar surucek diye soyledilermi? Ne zaman Ankaraya gitti? Sometimes things may take longer to process like background check etc.

Hi Kingtreek, the CAIPS notes are the notes the Immigration Officer makes on your file... it shows what is going on ie: interview dates, requested information, if the interview is waived or why there would be one and so on....

To obtain your CAIPS notes, you do need to know someone living in Canada, either a citizen or a permanent resident, who will be willing to mail the request for you. If you already in Canada, you can however send in the application yourself.

A Canadian citizen living abroad can also send in the application on your behalf, but there is a C$5 fee in this situation.

First off, you need to download the application form. You will find this at the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website at this link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563B.pdf

By the way are you appling under spousal....

Ask your wife king to get your CAIPS you can provide her with the info on your behalf.. Then you can see what might be the hold up.

Congratulations deedee1
kingtreek no news yet? I think perhaps you have a more extensive background check perhaps that's why it is taking longer :)

We are not in the habit of informing the applicants their medical results.

Hi Marlena we sent the application to CIC Mississauga on Jan 5, 2009 the application was received in Ankara on Feb 29, 2009 my husbands interview was April 29, 2009 and he went to the interview in the morning and had to go back at 4:00 pm for the answer....the interview was only to question him strictly about our relationship as there is a age difference and the interview was focused on this...they did not ask him anything about my likes or dislikes nothing about family only asked who people were in the pics and to ask him why he married a women who is older...I/O was very to the point and fair she was concerned only about the age difference and that was it....he went back at 4:00 in evening and was told everything was fine and approved we then had to pay the PPR fee and when it was received by them they called withing 3 days to tell him he could come pick up visa... I found this embassy very fast and good to deal with as I had sent many e-mails and they responded the next day to each... Deedee
