Hi all, i got my visa on 12 july 2010 and will plan to land on 29 july in Canada. So, i just want to know that when i will be eligible to do work.

As soon as you land in Canada and get a social insurance number, you can work

Yes when you land in Ontario you go to a Service Ontario outlet and apply for your SIN number they will give you a document with the number on it.Your card will come in a few weeks later but you get the number the same day and can get work .You can also apply for your health card.

This is my Timeline:
23 March 2010 - Submitted application (medical, PCC also submitted with the application)
26 April 2010 - Sponsorship approved
13 May 2010 - Started Process of my file at CIC New Delhi Office
17 May 2010 - PP Request
14 June 2010 - PP sent to CIC New Delhi Office
12 July 2010 - Passport Received with visa.

Best of luck chinthu & dont worry about the application, because july & august is the busiest months of CIC ND.
