Hello forum!

I hope you are all keeping safe. I have a question (maybe a couple) regarding when it's safe to travel outside Canada after my application. I'm a CEC applicant, and I'll be entering the pool in mid-November, after I complete my one year experience in a NOC A job here. My CRS is 498 and I'll have all of my documents ready by the date I enter the pool.

I've been following the rounds of invitations, and I'm confident to get an ITA in the next round, after I enter the pool.

The question here is:

-If I send my documents that same day ( e-APR ), or the next one (after getting ITA), will I receive the AOR right away? Or are there any delays due to COVID (delay between e-APR and AOR)?

I'm asking this, because I'm planning to travel to my home country in December, so, I don't know if it would be safe to travel after e-APR or I have to wait for the AOR. My concern is the validity of the PCC from my home country, I don't want it to get void.

I'll really appreciate your knowledge on this experts! Thank you in advance.

You can travel anytime you want but may not be able to return before getting your COPR unless you have a valid TRV/work permit.

Awesome! Thanks a lot for you answer, one more thing... do you know if I can submit upfront PCC from my country (Mexico) with my application? Even though for my country it says that I have to wait for IRCC to request it? I got it because my employer requested one from me a couple of months ago, when I was already here in Canada, or should I get a new one? Thanks!
