:(
Don't regret your decisions rather look ahead for solutions
he doesn't have a conditional PR and he certainly knows that before you

good luck

You can get divorced for 3 reasons in Canada, 2 of which can be started without being separated for a year
1)Infidelity - very hard to prove, will take a long time to finalize and expensive process
2)Cruelty - same as above
And, of course:
3)Separation for 1 year. It's the easiest, cheapest and quickest way. It's by far the most common because you generally don't need proof. You also don't need to be physically separated. You just have to attest that for all intents and purposes the marriage was over on X date, even though you continued to cohabitate. A lot of people will pick the date that one of them said "I want a divorce" or "I'm breaking up with you". So a year from that date, regardless if you continued to live together, you can file for divorce. The mechanics of how to actually get divorced vary by province, but the laws are federal and apply across the country.

Very important to note, you do not need your partner's permission or participation to get a divorce.

No you cannot switch his PR to "conditional". You must be separated for one year. For better advice, you will need to post what province you are in.

Agree that you should look forward for solutions (not easy, I know).

If you believe he only married you for PR, you can report him to CIC. However, that's all you can do regarding PR, and once done, you need to concentrated on *you* and moving forward.

yeah,,, he was way more than clever :(
but is there have any way to switch PR to conditional PR
No, But I would recommend to use any possible means to inform CIC about his wrongdoings and name it as marriage fraud and let them know how he used you to get into Canada. So that atleast he have a bad mark on his file and he would not be able to sponsor anyone easily.

I informed him that I will inform to CIC, so i came cross the following issue

My husband took my signatures on a blank document when I was in India, I was not aware of it,,, he told me just now .... Now he is blackmailing me that he can type in whatever he wants to on it.
Is it can be harmful for me ?

Blackmail is an indictable offense in Canada punishable by up to a lifetime term in jail. Report him to the police for this offense and speak with a divorce attorney about starting a divorce proceeding.
