What to expect as an outcome of a TRV/visit application with aforementioned online status? Can't help to wait for Monday to call the relevant office.

It means your application has been either approved or refused. Based on the information you've provided, it's unfortunately impossible for us to say which one.

Your question is not too clear...

But from what I understand, if they asked you for your passport it's probably because it is approved, they don't ask for passports just for the fun of it.

Thanks scylla and Michelle1978 for your input. In fact, it was a TRV application. The objective of the visit was to provide care and assist someone during pre and post natal period. Unfortunately, this application was rejected with the following objections:

a- Travel history
b- Family ties in Canada and in country of residence

I used http://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/documentsToSubmit to gather the application forms and prepare the supporting documents.

I intend to submit a new application but may I please know that how to address those two objections? The applicant is having NIL travel history prior to this and she is coming to visit her pregnant sister along two minor kids.

Re apply and show your ties to your country

Secondly your reason is not good because they don't need people for care as they have everything in the hospital at the time of delivery

What you should have been done is to apply as a tourist

As a tourist you can spent time with your family and come back

Refusal doesn't mean u are blacklisted or other

Mostly people never understand and read the facts of their application

But I would suggest u don't apply now as your reasons have been updated in the system so wait few months or 1 year and reapply family visit don't apply tourism because now they knows u have families there
