Many of the college level business classes are a bit pointless and won’t necessary lead to a job. My suggestion would be to look for a program with a co-op component or perhaps something that will lead to some more marketable skills. Slightly hard because many new immigrants who go back to school have job experience already and often with a large company. Getting into the job market as a business student is hard enough as a Canadian student. Traditionally Canadian MBA students have a few years of work before doing an MBA so they have already have had entry level jobs. Would look through the course catalogue in your local college and university and see what is available.
