So what happens after your sponsor gets a letter saying from the processing centre saying that your sponsorship application is approved? (considering you both live overseas, outside Canada?) What is the timeline? Interview at the embassy?

The next step , they will send the application to the local office for further processing, about the timeline there is no rule it is up to the application itself, the proff you have, your background check, how fast or slow the office is, about interview, it is up to the proof you have, and if they have convinced them or no.

You still have to prove that you are "legit". If your application was prepared well, you sent plenty of evidence along and there are no issues with your application, then you probably won't need an interview. Otherwise, you might be asked to attend one.

"How long" depends largely on the visa office dealing with your file. Some are quick (can be done in 2 months), others not so much (a year and more).
Check the processing times for a general idea: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp

That is the time needed from when the visa office receives the file.

That's just what I meant...well, they didn't say NOT to provide a link, they just said provide photos. I can always print as many as they want and haul them over to the embassy if they really want hard copy, but what with the Canadian government always saying how concerned they are about the environment, I thought they would applaud my environmental awareness by saving paper, LOL

well...saving trees is realy important, but...I don't think that they will check the pictures online, they need hard copies or digital pictures printed on paper using for example Microsoft word or Power point. I realy hope that they will check it online, but...I realy dought it, anyway good luck.

First time ever heard providing a link to check wedding pictures. They need proof in your applications... You provide them the information rather making them searching for it. BTW provide pictures means HARD COPIES rather providing them a link but good luck...

I agree; hard copies. Canada specifies that they should be loose, not bound in albums, etc. That clearly means hard copies. The IO will spend a few seconds, maybe a minute, checking them to see if they corroborate your application, then go on to other things. If you force him to slow down by having to turn on a computer etc etc., he won;t be happy wit you or your application. I'd do whatever I could to add hard copies to the application at the Visa Office, with an expanatory note on top.

Oh well, lesson learned. So I pasted a bunch of photos as a word doc. and emailed them to the local visa office, but they have not replied, thanked me, or otherwise acknowledged my valiant efforts....but according to E-CAS or whatever its called they started processing my junk a few days ago, man I didn't expect it to be that fast.

Processing time in Warsaw is 3-6 months. I don't think you should expect an acknowledgement for your "valiant" efforts -- you were just sending in what you were supposed to, which had you read the instructions, you would have submitted along with your application.
