what is undertaking

anyone help please!! i am about to sponsor my husband from africa...but 3 years ago my 2 uncules where sponsoring my father( there brother) and it got refused when they apeal again i wrote a latter saying i am his doughter and will be helping with financial when he comes here.. but still he got refused..now when i see the sponsorship and evalutaion form it askis if u sponsor any family before or undertak..and not in efect...now i dont know waht to say shoudl i say yes or no since i didnt sponsor him i only wrote the later to say its my dad..and i am a citizen n will help? please help

well undertaking is for someone you sponsored and came to Canada
so in this this does not apply to you, assuming you never sponsored someone and landed successfully, you must put a zero there, for both current and previous undertakings.

Undertaking is basically " an oath of financial responsibility that one takes when sponsoring someone to come to Canada"

As per your post, it was your Uncles who wanted to Sponsor your Father. You just provided a supporting document. Anyway, that got refused. So, you have not sponsored any person in the 5 years who have come to Canada. So, you can put 0 in that box.
