What is PR card under review means ?

Landed on 18th July but didnt have my PR card yet. I have been told that their is note on file on 2nd sept which says PR card under review?
Can any one tell me what does that mean ? Chcked my COPR everything looks fine on it..

Any one gone through this process before ?

5th June is a long time....Why PR card go under review ?
Do they start reviewing our PR application from beginning ? Any one who went through this review can tell me some thing...

Whether CIC call center telling u any timeline ?

I am worried by reading all this as I landed on 28-Sep-2014, and now they dont let me apply for SIN as VO changed Surname at time of landing.

So if I get into this never ending kinda of process ,then i will be without SIN after Feb'2014 (as my SIN is valid till that based on my work permit).

I am really worried .. hope things go well..

I asked the same question to the agent and the review is only for the pr CARD application, not pr application.

Any way I confirmed from them that I can travel with my car to US though road but not my commercial carrier..

Hey I landed on July 15,2014. I called CIC, they saying my PR card is under review and not yet ready for printing. My mom landed on August28, and she received her PR card today.
I am worried...
