Hello everyone,

My score is 431, and I don't see EE draws will get under 450 points in the near future. What do you think about my chance to be invited by OINP? Or do you suggest me to apply any other provinces depending on your experience?

Thanks.

Yes try for provinces.

Historical data shows CRS never went below 450 and I believe it won't.
:)Current trend it's rising..to 470

Thanks. As far as I understand, there is no application process for OINP. Should I just wait for an invitation, or is there anything I can do?

Yes, you should wait. I'd say your chances are high! I received the invitation from Ontario 2 days after I recreated my profile and another friend got hers in a few days too. Watch to see when they start sending out invitations, if you didn't get it in a week, consider recreating you profile. It usually works!
All the best,

Oh, that's a very good advice, thanks a lot. By recreate, did you mean deleting the whole profile and creating it again from the scratch or just updating some parts would be enough?

I check the following websites everyday, am I doing right?

Improving CRS Score - I am not sure what your IELTS score is. IELTS of the primary applicant plays a very important role in improving CRS score, therefore I would suggest that you should target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculator here
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score. If you are able to improve your score, may be you could get invited directly.

OINP - At 431 you are eligible to receive PT NOI from Ontario. Lately, there has been a temporary hiatus in Ontario sending out PTs. It seems OINP is clearing the backlog which they have accumulated since November (as they had to process Syrian refugee applications). Post this, which I assume would be May 2016 onwards, they would start issuing PTs. My assumption is based on the fact that they have updated OINP settlement funds requirement here http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html. The requirement refers to applications that will be submitted after May 6, 2016.

Other PNPs - For other PNPs check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

By recreating I mean withdrawing and creating a new one from scratch! Each profile is assigned a number. When they send out invitations, what happens is that their computer chooses some numbers. Then the corresponding profiles will receive invitations. Sometimes, the number which is assigned to your profile does not get picked so it is suggested to recreate the profile to get a new number. I don't have any reference to back up my words though. This is what I know from my knowledge of algorithms for randomly choosing numbers.
Also, please read this >>>> http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE.html.

Hope it helps.

Hi,
I have created my EE profile 3 times, but didn't receive any NOI from ON. Do you have any suggestions for me?

What I understand from what has been written here so far, OINP feels more like a lottery. So I think it's just luck. Or maybe there was no draw between your first and last profile creations?

Sure chance to get an OINP invite for now is to have CLB 7 French. You may have to wait until OINP announces their new intake and rules.

The same link that Han already cited at the top of this page.

There is a French Speaking Stream that is still being invited, but no one has reported invites from the Human Capital Priorities Stream since mid-February.

Hmm, maybe it is time brush up on my high school French. It seems paying the fees for taking TEF may be worth it in the end. OINP has been the only chance for so many of us.
