What is my chance for OINP? Any other suggestions?

Hmm, maybe it is time brush up on my high school French. It seems paying the fees for taking TEF may be worth it in the end. OINP has been the only chance for so many of us.

For reference, CLB 7 is C1 level DALF-DELF, if you're looking to reach that level. You can also wait a few more weeks or so. OINP has not yet announced their quota for 2016, and it's due in the near future.

According to http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-language-converter.html CLB 7 is adequate intermediate which is not all that hard if you have some working knowledge of French. The price of the test is high, though, and in my area they only give it a few times per year (I still need to travel 600km).
But you are right, it is better to be patient and wait a little longer. I got my ECA done just before they stopped sending PTs. So frustrating.
