Thanks for providing your info. You are in now!

thanks Edmontonbound,
it looks they've updated your ECAS to medical received.
are you the only applicant?
coz mine has 3, just wondering weather more applicants means more time processing :'(

@ Dell

I got an e-mail as a respond. They mentioned in an earlier e-mail months back that their communication will only be via e-mail; unless they change the method otherwise.

@Iggy
I don't think it has to do with the number of people applying with you (because we are 5), I guess it has to do with the office and the officer(s) in charge.

iggy,

could you go back to look at your AOR in march 25, and pay attention on the VO # at the end of AOR email, what is the VO #? mine is 101. some folks have 58, 98, etc, it makes difference?

I was a little surprised when I saw my AINP in the mailbox. I was assuming it would be sent to me electronically through email. I prefer email as I dont trust USPS at all times.

Does anyone have any idea of what month or year is Ottawa currently processing applicants? I know our email stated decision will be made in 10 months so according to that are they currently processing applications submitted in August or September of 2011 ? Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it ?

AINP certificate, I think, is always mailed by Alberta. Although, they ask you to provide all documentations via. email.
Also, processing of applications prior to December, 2011 is different from the ones after December, 2011. So, it would be futile to guess anything now. I surmise we would be able to assess the timeline in Aug/Sep, especially, if we heard about a few PPRs.

I got my nomination by USPS mail; however, communication ever since AOR has been via e-mail. I guess this is the standard for everyone

I hope the same thing, nothing to do with the applicants

panamio2000 - Just wondering if CIC asked you for the Police clearance certificate or did you have to message them and they went looking in your folder and found that missing and later on came back and told you to submit PCC ?

Was it the detroit office or was it Ottawa who asked you ?

For some reason, I have a gut feeling our processing time is going to increase because of the buffalo visa office shutting down.

July 30,2012: My status got updated to "Medicals received" :-)

Thanks Bro! Panamio..did your ECAS change to in-process?
If you don't mind.. could you confirm your native country and what countries you lived in? If it's personal..please ignore my message.
