EastRider my passeport was valid for the period of the 4 years and it is still valid. but it will expire in May 2014 and I will apply January 22, 2014.EasyRider said:It's not mandatory, but preferred. They ask where you've traveled last time and for how long, where was current passport issued and check stamps in the current passport. If there's no current passport, it may be fine, but it also increases chances for RQ at test. So if it's not a question of exceptional difficulties, just renew it.
They will find stamps of the 2 travel I made during the 4 years. And after, I just don't need to renew it because I want to get the canadian passport after for my travels in the future. Plus no travel planned for the next year. So no need of a passport.
I don't know how it increases the chance of RQ? they want me to stay in canada as PR and I am doing it.
Please advise. Thanks
