What happens after we link paper application.

Need expert advise on after paper application is linked.
I linked my paper application after 4 weeks I applied paper application.
Now my processing time will be after 4 weeks or before?
After I linked my application there was update in medical saying "we need medical information" but there is no update in CIC message with instructions.

No it will not effect your processing time, as you said the medical request was already there when i linked my application. Normally when someone apply online it takes weeks in receiving medical request, dont worry it will not prlong your processing time

Yes i received medical update after few days but still i havent got any instruction in mycic message with medical number
