No it will not effect your processing time, as you said the medical request was already there when i linked my application. Normally when someone apply online it takes weeks in receiving medical request, dont worry it will not prlong your processing time

I myself did not apply with the conditional one. The condition in my acceptance letter was to pay the first semester fee for your seat confirmation. I paid the fee and included the semester fee receipt with that acceptance letter.

Nobody mentions the course starting date which is a crucial information.

The also take the course starting date into consideration. If one apply for September 2017 session in November 2016 definitely they are not gonna issue him visa more than two or three years earlier. Course starting date effect the decision in some way.

I think course is right, If you you can prove that it will add something to your profile and you will have better prospects after completing this course.

For PhD changing field and all do not matter at all. Just get approved in PhD program and your visa will be confirmed. Take care of the financial matter as well, as this could be the only challenge after admission in PhD

How do they do it at CIC? Do they confirm the amount or just check the four bank statement one provide with application?
