So what does this mean?

is it that the first time they will look at the file?
is it that they will look to see where the file is at and give you a feedback?
my brought forward date is December 16th right around the holiday, does the holiday season affect what they do with my file?
is it that while i am awaiting my brought forward date, they do absolutely no work on the file?
i just want some answers.

It is a reminder to the IO that he/she should check the file on that date.

It could be it is the time takes something must happen by,.. say you need to send a paper to them in 60 days, they will put a BF date on the file for that.
They cannot remember all the files that they have active so they use BF dates.

The holiday might affect processing in VO but i don't think it would be that significant. My interview is scheduled for Dec 22 which is quite close to christmas! So no worries about the holidays :)

should i include any additional information with my brought forward date reminder? ihave a few months of phonebills, trip to canada blah blah. or would this further delay the process?

I have sent some additional documents to Singapore.( skype chat and phone record for 5 months, fido phone bill for 1 year, some more pics of different tour and wedding with explanation, fb msgs and fb pics which showing comments from familny and friends) I actually dont know whether it would delay our processing but i did it coz i want to avoid interview as well as i want to assist VO to judge our relationship which is more than genuine.

If u think ur additional documents will help to judge ur genuiness of relationship then its really worth sending those documents
