What Does This Mean?

I got this message off the VFS website after tracking my study permit application:

"Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ACCRA , on 15/10/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre".

I have my medicals done from a previous application. What does this mean? is my visa approved?

Hi,

There is no guarantee that your visa has been approved as Visa approval mail comes before the passport dispatch mail.
Hope for the best and let us know when you get your passport.

I used a representative so i'm guessing my representative would receive the approval email. What is the validity of medicals? how long is it valid for?

The medical is valid for one year.

Thanks pepperspice! I was getting worried since I did not get a call to go for medicals. Medicals for my last refused application was in December 2013. So it should still be valid right?
