Hi,
I have 14 months experience working as a University researcher here in Toronto, Canada. If I were to apply through CEC, what would be the total costs involved? I hear it can be close to 3k?

Thanks

1040 for pr

Medical fees depends on your doctor 200-300
Police record fees depends on your country

Hi,

I think your estimate of 3k is quite accurate. Fees (1050), language test (300), medicals (250), criminal record checks and all the other forms (pictures, marriage license, courier costs) really add up.
The upside is that you dont have to show proof of funds for CEC.
However, it is still important to start the process with some savings in the bank.

Good luck!

2/2.5k is more accurate, if you don't need too much translations

But yes, it could be 3k depending on your case

1. You forgot right of PR Resident Fee of $495

Application fee is $490, and Right of Permanent Residence fee is another $490 I believe. So together that makes about $1000, correct?

It cost me $1040 for the actual application and $240 for the medical (including the blood test and X-ray).

I didn't need any PCCs so there could be a cost there.
