Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I know I should not complain because we have only been waiting for two months, our time line is below.
But ECAS does not show that our medicals have been recieved. Is there anything I can do at this point? I dont want to annoy anyone. But should I call or email someone? Are there any options other than just sitting and waiting?

Thanks.

if your doctor sent the medical himself, just call and make sure he sent yours.

Have they requested the passport to be sent to the visa office?

they don't always mention 'medicals received' on ecas, sometimes they update it only with 'decision made'. try not to worry much and be a bit patient in waiting. what is the visa office you are dealing with?

I had my last medical in March 2009 and ECAS has never shown them. My last update on Ecas is "we received the information requested, thank you" dated October 2008!

I have now landed and the front of Ecas says "decision made" but clicking on that nothing has been updated since 08.

It's not unusual!

Im dealing with Singapore. I know I lack patience, as everyone knows on here its just so difficult to put life on hold while waiting for news.

I am in the same boat as you. The only advice I can think of is that whether you get angry or not, it'll still take just as long. It's completely out of your hands...

hi
I am in the same boat . I am Thai but have canadian citizen . I AM sponsoring my wife the process started since July 08 . i am still waiting. singapore is very very slow.

Don't stress about what is or isn't shown on ECAS. My husband's file showed medical received AFTER he was given the PR Visa and landed in Canada! Not every office is consistent in this.

Often, the 'medicals received' is shown on E-cas after the decision has been made. In my case, it showed up after I already had the passport with the visa in hand.

Swatdeeka Khun ythamwong,

Can I ask when you got the notice "in process" from singapore? My husband is also Thai and I am Canadian. We sent everything at the same time, police clearance, medical, fees. Did you send them all at once or only when singapore requested them? We have been in process since Nov 26. From July is a long time to wait. I have a Canadian friend who brought over her Thai husband, it only took them two months through singapore!

You have to remember that Singapore is taking there time. Some can go up to 14 months. I sent everything in at once, They sent me a letter requested FBI clearance in December 4-09 . My wife was in US over 2 years. That FBI was taken 6 weeks to get it. We sent FBI back to them on Jan 2. They got it now. Now, We are waiting and tire of it. I emailed Singapore but they never did once response.
